[Adult]Trending - The Good,the bad and the horribly ugly.

A trend,or a "fad",is defined as "the general direction in which something tends to move." (According to thefreedictionary.com anyway).
So if you've lived on this planet for the past 15 years or so,you'll understand that the word means being "cool".
If you've been here for more than that,then I'm pretty sure you'll be on my side when I say "For trends may come and trends may go,but character is the only thing that actually matters." (Please forgive me,Lord,for I have plagiarized works that are not entirely mine.)
Generally,trends are like chain reactions.Someone starts the trend by doing something that's crazy,innovative or downright stupid.(Some of which make you feel like you don't want to live on this world anymore..)

Although I gotta admit,some are actually good.Some of which includes the drive for ecofriendly products,the correction of society (as seen in various events that have occurred throughout the past few years.
But wait!There's more! The good trends are heavily outnumbered by the weird and the bad ones.
These include word trends too.

For instance,there's YOLO - an acronym for "You only live once." Apparently,teenagers have been heavily following this "ideal",and instead of thinking "Yeah,I only got a life,so I should make the best of it!",they go for "GETTING WASTED! YOLO!".
People,if you believe in the latter,please go see a psychiatrist.
The second worst trend would be "Swag".
Now,I don't exactly get what they mean by it.
Is it being "Hip"? Being "cool"? Or being "dope"?
Now for you "Hipsters" out,thank you for pointing out that old things are cool and all,but please stop wearing ridiculous clothes...and fashion accesories.
That applies to the "Emo" people.I know it's a phase of your life and all,but please get out of your shell.

Ambivalent? Think again.

I'm indecisive when it comes to some things. Like picking what kind of cereal I want for breakfast, or what kind of chocolates I really prefer. I get thoroughly confused when I'm handed a menu, and all I can think of is "I want all of this. " When you get offered a choice, you think about the best option out of it, right? You'd consider personal gain, which is of utmost priority. After that,you think about how it'd affects others  (most people don't even get to this stage. ) and finally, you think about the option that you didn't consider. It's like the question from Matrix all over again - do you want the red pill, or the pink one? ( "No wait, it was blue. " is what you were thinking, oui?) No matter what you chose, it's entirely up to you to make the choice.
