Ever since I entered that pre-teenage stage of life (where you suddenly become a philosophical genius),I've always wondered as to why people really cry.I mean,it's not like i never cried - I used to do that all the time till I was 11 or something. But then I took a good, hard look at myself and I wondered "Do you want to cry all the time, you little wussie,or do you want to fix things?" I've cried only a few times ever since. That includes crying because of a good movie. But that doesn't necessarily make you stronger - it just allows you to enforce and strengthen your will upto a certain extent. After you realize your limit, you just breakdown. But the trick to bypassing that limitation,is to redefine and analyze. But I'm not here to talk about crying.Geez, what did you think, this is a blog for 13 year olds? Anyway, this post is actually a heads-up to a couple of friends who just break down and cry when they face a surrealistic situation, that may seem im...

Midnight Solace

Click. One after the other. Long scrolls, and you just keep doing it. Not because you want to,but because you're bored, and it's the only way out. Insomnia is something that's always been there, but I've never been a partaker of sorts till recently, because I used to be this kid who went to sleep when the clock struck 8 and I would enter a trance,as if under a spell. Used to ,anyway. But as you venture deeper into the night, you realize that (at some dark period) the night is actually very much comforting, than it is in the daytime (don't get me started on the heat!)...and you relish the eerily calming loneliness, that cool breeze that passes through you (and to hell with those mosquitos!) But then morning comes around, and you're left wondering "How the hell did I stay awake?" and then you fall asleep, maybe for an hour or so,before you're knocked right back to your cycle of daily work. I know I'm ending this on an abrupt note, but I'd like...

Fight.

"No...no...no you did not..just finish my last bottle of Oronamin C !" (If you have no idea what that is,then I pity you.) My brothers and I used to squabble and get into brawls over things, things that seems so trivial now that I look at it. People fight. It's only natural that we do so.  We descended from ancestors who used to throw  feces at each other as a sign of hostility. We still have that primitive rage, that inner desire to rip out each other's throats and just lay it all out on the battlefield. As a supporter of a  club that you do not talk about , I think it's appropriate for me to tell you that fighting does solved unresolved issues, but it's more of a last resort. I mean, you don't have to punch and knock each other's teeth out, but when we fight, the beast inside gets released, and that's when our true forms are laid down in bare for all to see. You can pretty much judge the  character of a guy by the way he fights, rather...

Management - Don't click to learn how-to.

Image
These days, you'll see a lot of books saying "How to manage your life in 5 easy steps!",or most of the time it's "How to manage  your money efficiently!" There's only one truth, that one thought, that keeps us moving forward and working every. single .day. Today is the first day of what's left of your life. Weird, huh? But if we were to live life like the old sayin' goes " Eat,drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die !",then we wouldn't achieve much expect for a shorter lifespan, and maybe a presence, made oblivious by our actions. But you could change that. You could change it all by yourself. You could become that person you always wanted to be.Someone who ruled the world, conquered entire nations and had millions of followers. Or maybe that's just my ol' dream. But what you can do...is manage. Manage your time. Manage your ideas, your work, your life - Learn how to manage anything and everything seamlessly, and you'...

The Decision never taken.

I picked the topic "Holding Back" because that's something I've always done in my life. Looking back, there aren't many things that I've done with free will - for everything comes with a price, and I've always dreaded that awful question that passes through every single one of us when we face a perplexing complex situation - "What if?" What if you could go back in time, and fix all those moments? What if you could write those darn exams better? What if you could've listened to your parents when they told you that something like tattooing your entire chest is a pretty stupid idea? What if you could go back to your high school years and ask out your crush, hoping that she would say the answer that you hoped for? What if you could fix your marriage by NOT taking that loan, that mortgage, and maybe, for god's sake, used some protection?! What if... I told you that instead of moaning about the past, you should try fixing the present, and saving t...

Introduction - Me,Myself and the World.

I've always wanted to do a blog. Not that it's so life-achievement-worthy, but because I've always wanted to. Maybe it's because I've wanted to leave a footprint (in this case,an e-print), a journal,  a memoir of sorts. Or maybe it's because I want to impart a part of myself, the hidden elusive crazy me,on the world. But that doesn't matter, now does it? For what I really want to do.... is for you people to figure out exactly what I mean by my words, and my posts, and see the world as I do. Check out the sidebar on the right for goodies, don't forget to subscribe and also, check out the polls :) For now, I bid thee Goodbye, and good luck! D. (Also,I'll be tagging a song or a quirky video in every post as a treat - Love 'em or Hate 'em as you wish.) See the world  :)
