I want you to picture your entire life as compactly as possible. That perfect comfort zone with your specially gang of friends, your parents, your inner circle. Add the pets in if you have them too. Now consider the inevitable fate when they die. They will all die. What will you do then? Find new ones to replace them? It's impossible. You can find replacements, but what if they never match up to their predecessors? Death is inevitable. I've been told so endless times by my current teachers because I have a poem that deals with it, but then nothing's better than a thought-provoking speech (excluding a nice bowl of ice cream and relaxing lazily, watching a movie, but that's a topic for another day). So what can you really do? How do you really live with the destined fate? Enjoy their presence. Cherish their memories when they're gone. For there is no crueler fate in this world than to be forgotten, your existence being a speck of dust that once floated in this vast ...

I can't see her face. Honestly, I can't. I imagine what's it like, Behind that grace - The voice, that soothes you into taking her word. My experiences has changed me; I can see clearly now, the rain has gone. Everything is set to " We ", and in plain sight. I enjoy this change. It feels like a new Start. But I don't notice that I'm spiraling out of control. The daggers conspire while I aspire to truly desire and gain back my soul. I'm oblivious to the darkness that beckons me. I feel like I'm on the Edge, with no control whatsoever; no balance, no stick, caught between this huge wedge. But now, the final deed is done. I can't hear her anymore. She's gone. And she replies with this . Welcome. To Windows 10. D. (And at the turn of the tide, I have returned once again. The snitch is yours to keep. Have at it! Kaleida - Think . )

The Bird Whisperer (Sort of.)

Image
*This post was supposed to have been posted back in March, 2014. But I forgot to because of CBSE Exams. I typed it up but decided to post it afterwards. So, without much further ado..* As the title boldly suggests, I can whisper stuff to birds. Not that it makes any sense to them. I mean, it's not like I'm forcibly crushing them in my hand while I whisper some random stuff like "Turn to page 394" or "Natalia Poklonskaya", now is it? Anyhoo, to cut things short, about 2 weeks ago, I saw two birds fluttering about near my apartment. As far as I could brilliantly  deduce, they were probably searching for morsels of food lying about but to my surprise..they had built a nest. On my tree. My fake plastic tree. So, much to bewilderment of the parents, I began to dote upon the little ones. Mind you, I was having tests that would pretty much determine my career and basically my life. So I took extra effort...to be a watchful protector of sorts..  (batma...

He was, no doubt, a mil-no, a bil- nay, a gazillionaire, And she, as plain as the fields could be, Their interests one sided - he could only gaze, Laze upon the thought that was her. He was sure of one thing, though.. He'd never know what peace felt like , ever again. All the wealth he had, and all that he would ever gain, it mattered little to him - for he'd found something. Something, that for the first time in his life, would forever be out of his reach. He was no fool - Oh no, sire, He was a complete idiot! And thus he thought, and think he did - rather foolishly so! The only way to gain peace of mind , in his mind, would be to let her go And the mad man that he was, devised a plan finally. What was it? He'd drop a coin, or any currency that he had, every time a thought stole his mind. He'd place it on whatever was in front of him - so you can imagine the plight of his associates, who knew that the seed of madness took him ...

Being pretty much jobless these days,  I've faced transitions from one quirky lifestyle to another in a quick pace, from being a slave to enjoying days outside in the sun, to taking long and dreary walks in the hot blistering sun as a part of an exercise regime, I've pretty much been doing "this and that." In these, I've noticed several people and their lifestyles. Some are bland and boring, while others are filled with #magicalmornings which are quite quirky and are actually magically refreshing to read in the morning, while there are those omnipotent forces which are far beyond our scope of understanding (for now.) I've come to face some other dilemmas which can induce quite a number of worrying factors and detriment the overall health of a human being, the first evil being lethargy - it took me a month to overcome that by half, and I'm still lazy to even get up during my usual hours. I've yet to find my own lifestyle - taking in, adapting ...

The Ballads (Part 2)

Image
With a dazed look upon her face, she stood there - lost in oblivion, It was like she was stuck in a war council -  they were all describing various things, and even though she knew their language, and she couldn't relatively understand a WORD they said. They kept going on, ignoring her presence, How could she *possibly* know what they were talking about? She looked around the room, and noticed, with a sinking heart, that only a few women were present, and even less joined the fray. That reminded her of Frey- what a cold hearted bastard he was. She thought of why she was there, of the reason behind the arguments, what really bonded these men together to be as such, and noticed - in her silent observations a single clue. That was all she needed - she understood the reason, the purpose. Their faces gave it away, their primitive evolution was the main fault and thus, she put forward a resolution to fix all that was broken, and to rig...

Neither am I gonna lament and regret on wasting my days here, because I've enjoyed the time I had and spent here. Even though I know that once we move on and forget each other, this place will always be that  place where you stayed and grew up with other people of your age, 8 hours a day, for 14 of your decisive years. The Observer.

It's been a long time, but not too long , I hope. I think I'll start off with a bit of facts. What do you think is the best thing a stalker could wish for? It might be beauty, wealth or an attractive quality of a person, but what the stalker really looks for is a schedule. A person who always does his daily routines with an apt timetable is a stalker's best prey. Now I'm not here to talk about criminal profiling or any sort of mental analysis of stalkers, but I'm actually trying to prove a point. You see, people are easy to understand. You observe their actions, their emotions, their facial expressions, you'll get a clue as to how to crack their real identity - what's really going on inside their mind. A person who smiles a lot might be someone who's really insecure, maybe lonely and a true damsel in distress. Or that person might just have some muscular disorder with the facial muscles. But the thing is that you can know what's going i...

Ambivalent? Think again.

Image
I'm indecisive when it comes to some things. Like picking what kind of cereal I want for breakfast, or what kind of chocolates I really prefer. I get thoroughly confused when I'm handed a menu, and all I can think of is "I want all of this. " When you get offered a choice, you think about the best option out of it, right? You'd consider personal gain, which is of utmost priority. After that, you think about how it'd affects others  (most people don't even get to this stage. ) and finally, you think about the option that you didn't consider. It's like the question from Matrix all over again - do you want the red pill, or the pink one? ( "No wait, it was blue. " is what you were thinking, oui?) No matter what you chose, it's entirely up to you to make the choice. Whether you make the choice by letting your "seven sins" affect your decision, or you decide it rationally is none of my business. Because I'm just a ...

The Ballads (Part 1)

Image
Seriously. Once upon a time, there lived a lad who was blissfully ignorant of the world 'round him. He never had to bother with the big things that adults fussed about. Not once did he even have to think about what he was going to wear for the next day - for it was all chosen and done for him before he had to care about it. The boy grew up in this manner until he hit the stage of life where everyone is neither adult nor child. The boy got awfully troubled in this period - for he was neither prepared for it, nor did he have anyone to help him out. But that was where he was wrong!  For he had all the companions in the world.. or did he? His family still pampered him  doing odd jobs that should've been his and never once did he think  "Maybe I should help them out?" Soon though, it got too late to fix what was  for when the time came when the job had to be done, the trigger to be pulled - he was the one behind the hammer. ...

What have you been reading lately?

Image
As far as I've known, books are my foremost and closest friends. They taught me the languages of the world, kept me company when others decided to ignore me because I was too "weird" back then, and they taught me about life. Books taught me what it is to feel happiness, joy and about using my imagination to think beyond the small box that we humans define as "reality". Books also taught me what it means to be sad, to have lost a loved one. But more than anything, they taught me that no matter what happens, if you believe in yourself, it doesn't matter who the hell stands up to you.. You are you. No one else. And as special as one could be. And I thank you for nurturing me, my friends. :') Happy Reading Week! D. (If you haven't notice, I try very hard to make sure the songs that I post as treats are connected to the post. But this time, you ought just go read a book.)

The Laments of a Wallflower.

Image
"    Here I stand a lone flower surrounded by death and  destruction. A single sign of life in this valley of pain and sorrow, I stand as a beacon to those lost in the remains of the world. My time is short but my light shall not be extinguished w ithout ensuring there will be a new light to take my place. A new light to shine through the darkness I was unable to clear away. For a world without light is no world at all, For what is darkness without light. And to ensure that the world will continue on I stand, Here I stand the last source of sunlight in the world, The last wall flower in this world. I must continue to live, So that I can create a new world from this single flower. A world that ended, and was reborn with a single wall flower." This work is not mine, although I wish it was. I merely wish to share it upon those who can understand the beauty of the lines, and the meaning beneath. I'm no fan of plagiarism, but I guess I could make an exception or two ...

Trust.

Image
In most rehab facilities, there's this exercise where you have to blindly fall back into the hands of your fellow rehab mates (Rehabees?), and this is supposed to create a strong bond between them...make them trust each other a little bit more. That might work in an exercise being supervised by an instructor, but how much would you actually trust someone? Trusting someone is no easy choice. I want you to imagine two people in your life - the one you love and would give an arm for, and then the one you fear/hate the most. Now,if you were placed in a boat with them in two different situations, in a lonely and vast sea, which one would actually show their true colors - the friend, or the enemy? Chances are that the outcomes aren't as predictable as you thought they were. If there's someone you can absolutely trust in this life on Earth, it sure ain't the president of your country. Not your best-est friends, and certainly not that guy across the store. Want me t...

How useful are you?

Image
Imagine a huge, bustling crowd. Now think of yourself as a harried, busy office worker with a hectic schedule, moving towards office with no time to waste, moving with a quick pace through the crowd. You're carrying files of papers essential for today's presentation and whatnot. Suddenly,a guy bumps into you. You drop the files and the papers start flying kind of like a dog being unleashed and let out . You're frustrated, even grumbling under your breath at that guy,who didn't even turn to look back at the mess he just made. So there you are, grabbing all those papers and stuffing them back into the files when You get help from another person. At that moment, you'd almost believe that the person was God-sent,wouldn't you? You're thankful for the help, from the bottom of your heart, and blesses the angel. Now,what I'm coming around to is that helping people out when they really need help is something that we need to have built into our minds. You might never know ...

[Baked] I'm back.

"And so the boy, given up for dead.. ... returns to his people,to sacred Sparta, a king!"                   Interesting enough, you might find posters such as these 'round town, indicating my return. Unfortunately for y'all, the boy mentioned in the lines is me. Yes. I'm back. Take a moment to let that sink in. Pray to your gods. Pray that my posts will a be quick death for you. For I shall show no mercy. On a side, cheery note,I'm actually back.I've been brainstorming for the past week, and got a couple of things regarding the other side of me  (the one who lives in the parallel dimension called "reality") worked out, and it's all good. So expect the usual shower of the usual quirky, downright weird  and quixotic (There comes a time when people learn new words  and they brag about it.This is one such case)  posts so forth. The warning has been given.Their fate is now their own. D. (If you checked out t...

[Very Short]A Season Finale

Image
Due a slight change in my hectic schedule, I'll be taking a little break from the blogosphere for about a week or two. I've been blogging for nearly 2 months, and to my surprise, there's been quite a few ardent followers, and I thank you for the support! :) But really,I need to recharge my mind (and my Awesomeness.) for a while, hence the break. Do not fear, for I shall return.(I'll still be moderating the blog.) Now run along and make yourselves busy. D. (As it's the season finale,I'll include a few extra videos as a treat! Firstly,it's the Oscar-winning short film - Paperman  [Note that the link is a facebook page, since I couldn't find any complete version of it anywhere except on my computer.] Second, the Symphony of Sciene - The Quantum World!  [Honestly,I liked it only because Morgan Freeman was in it.] And last, but not least,a   Slow Loris ! You'll understand why I linked it once you watch it.) That's all I got for the post. Now behave...

Shawarma for the weak hearted souls.

Image
First, choose your weapon(s) of preference. Then, locate and identity your target. Choose the perfect way to take out the target, without any mess or witnesses (to avoid calling in a cleaner.) Once the objective is completed, make sure to remove all traces of you being in the location nor anywhere near the target in order to avoid suspicion. If you thought this was instructions on how to kill a person,I truly do hope you're not anti-social and a psychopath. If you thought this was the perfect set of instructions on how to cook, then you're a chef at heart. I've always been a lad fond of cooking .Ever since I was a wee-little boy, I've always conjured up mixtures of things that resulted in confusing, and possible dangerous concoctions. In fact, there was an incident where I was asked to give a few of my visiting relatives something to drink (mind you,I had no ill intentions) and my mom told me to try making some Tang . But little ol' me had one experiment in m...

[Short]A shoutout to that lady! Heil!

Image
That lady. That little missy. The one with the bossy attitude. A dictator,no doubt, whose power ranks amongst the biggest tyrants of all time. But as it is,some people tend to love dictators.I *used* to love Hitler because he followed his ideals firmly (little did I know that he used to gas people just to follow his ideals) and as such,I guess I'm a sucker for dictators. But this dictator isn't the ruler of any continent, country or any village, for that matter. She's the ruler of a house. A specific one. Mine. Of course, the wickedly brilliant people might've caught on already with all those hard clues I left behind (Cool, maaan!),and for the blissfully ignorant,I'm talking about my Mom. Now she's not as bad as I'm suggesting wildly. She's been a dictator ever since I crossed the 13-year-old mark. But all in all,she does that for my own good, for the sake of my future, for the better of mankind as it is. She's also the perfect playmate, and the careta...

Being Real, and how good it can feel.

Image
In a world of endless opportunities and ideas, how do you truly convey the real you to others? How do you teach them the real part of you,the diamond in the rough? That you're not as mean and nasty as they think you are,but instead,a gung-ho type? Do you paint,or dance? Some artistic form developing throughout the history of mankind? Or do you blog about it,like I do? Or maybe post vlogs? Perhaps, maybe even depict those little ideas in forms of pictures or videos - maybe even short films,no matter how horrible they are? Or do you live a fake life, full of lies, showing people the way they want you to be,and not the real you? Well,I'd have to say,if you don't really express yourself, you're just living a life of a nobody. A nobody,as in the fact that you never really tried to be creative. A caged bird,a butterfly stuck in a lonely, dark room. A chained pet. Maybe you don't express yourself because you're afraid of what people might think of you,or maybe you...

Talking to people - The Inevitable mistake of your life.

Image
Don't get me wrong,I love talking.I began to talk a bit late into my life I was around 5,I think, and the first legitimate words were fumbled words from the national anthem of my country. Why was I singing the anthem? Because the kindergarten my mom was planning to get me into was screening kids by making them sing songs they like.I happened to be the only one who hadn't actually talked much before that,so imagine my parent's tears when I actually sang. And now,I realize that talking is not my thing.Well, apart from the usual, day to day necessities,I actually suck  at talking to people.I'm usually abrupt and upfront about topics, and there's an aura of uneasiness whenever I try to make a conversation last.(That also explains the fact that I'm still single, although there's another perfectly reasonable excuse for that!) So I decided to make a little list of things that you should/should not do when you're talking to people. As people who know me person...
